At Talking for Teens, we believe every young person deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported. Our vision is to create a world where youth mental health is prioritised, open conversations are encouraged, and stigma is a thing of the past.
Through our digital platforms, campaigns, and initiatives, we aim to provide a safe space where teens can express themselves, share their experiences, and access valuable resources. We are committed to amplifying young voices, fostering community, and inspiring change—one conversation at a time.
Because when teens talk, the world should listen.
At Talking for Teens, our mission is to empower young people by breaking the silence around mental health and creating a culture of openness, support, and understanding.
We achieve this by providing digital spaces for teens to share their experiences, access helpful resources, and connect with a community that truly listens. Through impactful campaigns, engaging content, and collaborative initiatives, we strive to challenge stigma, spark important conversations, and ensure that no teen feels alone in their journey.
We exist to make talking about mental health normal—because every teen’s voice matters.

Talking For Teens is a nonprofit advocacy organisation centred on community that provides support and assistance to those in need while setting up campaigns and other programs to spread awareness and support our missions and key goals.
There are many ways to get involved with Talking For Teens, such as volunteering, becoming an ambassador, engaging with us via social media and more!
The reason we had the idea of setting up a mental health advocacy group is because we noticed the lack of support young people get in the mental health system.
We have seen first handedly the detrimental impact it’s had on young people which is why we wanted to put something out there to be a voice people can believe in to help initiate a change.
We are fully self funded and have developed our resources independently. We are a non profit organisation - We do not gain any financial benefit from Talking For Teens as we aim to meet our key goals and missions set out.
We've been asked if we provide mental health support or a helpline ourselves multiple times.
The answer is no. Talking For Teens is not a professional support service instead we advocate on behalf of young people, pushing out campaigns to raise awareness on young people's mental health, supply services to people about alternative 3rd party professional support services and more. However, we are not a registered mental health support provider. If someone messages us seeking mental health assistance, we'll refer them to a third-party service.
We do have a new support hub so you can find the mental health support services available for you all in one place!
